Experienced Rostering Coordinator: Aged and Disability Services - Community Care

Care to Careis recruiting for an experiencedRostering Coordinator to join our existing scheduling team in this full-time role. You will be responsible for the coordination and scheduling of our support workers,operating across Brisbane. After initial training, you will be working on a rotational roster(9 day fortnight, working alternating weekends) and some elements of work from home (weekends). During the week, you will be based in one of our offices (Cannon Hill or Manly).

The successful candidate will be a strong communicator, comfortable with managing client expectations and confident speaking with people from all walks of life. Care to Care is a registered NDIS & approved Support at Home provider, delivering in-home assistance to Aged and Disabled clients, enabling them to live their lives independently in their own homes. We pride ourselves on our personalised delivery of high quality services.

Main Duties:

Develop and manage care service schedules, considering each client’s individual needs and matching with support workers’ skills and geographical locations

Arrange replacement staff to cover sick and annual leave, and planned or unplanned absences and ad hoc shift changes

Ensure compliance, cost optimisation as well as a focus on client and support worker satisfaction

Receive client feedback, enquiries and complaints, and respond as required

On-call: on a rotational roster (remunerated separately), shared with the other scheduling coordinator and the rest of the team

Administrative activities, using the Care Management System

Key requirements:

Ideally, 3+ years’ experience in service coordination, scheduling/rostering –with multiple Client Management Systems/software applications

Experience with scheduling mobile workers in the in-home/community care environment

Working knowledge of SCHADS and Nurses Awards will be beneficial

Ideally, working knowledge of Support at Home and NDIS programmes

Ability to prioritise, coordinate and resolve enquiries/rescheduling in a high‑pressure environment

Proactive and logical problem‑solving skills with high attention to detail

Excellent interpersonal, telephone and collaboration/influencing skills

Excellent time management skills and a sense of urgency

Strong client service focus – must be a team player

Experience in office administration, including advanced computer skills (Outlook, Word, Excel)

We offer a competitive remuneration package, in line with qualifications and experience under the relevant award with an additionalabove-award premium. On-call is remunerated in addition.
