About the Role

We are seeking empathetic, reliable, and skilled Female Support Workers to form a dedicated team providing care and support for a female client located in Lake Munmorah, NSW.

Living with a Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), our client requires structured in-home and community access support grounded in trauma-informed care and routine building. A primary focus of this support is directly assisting the client in building her parental capacity and practical parenting skills.

We are currently building a collaborative team of 2 Support Workers to deliver 30 hours of support per week across 6 days.

Shifts on Offer (Total 30 Hours / Week across Team)

Support is scheduled across 6 days per week (no Sunday shifts scheduled).

  • Monday: 7:00 AM – 1:00 PM (6 hours)
  • Tuesday: 7:00 AM – 2:00 PM (7 hours)
  • Wednesday: 7:00 AM – 2:00 PM (7 hours)
  • Thursday: 7:00 AM – 10:00 AM (3 hours)
  • Friday: 7:00 AM – 10:00 AM (3 hours)
  • Saturday: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM (4 hours)

Note: Shift allocations will be distributed across the 2-person support team.

What You Will Do

  • Care Strategy Implementation: Execute strategies developed by the multi-disciplinary care team.
  • Household Management & Life Admin: Guide household organization, create, prioritize, and implement daily to-do lists, complete life administration tasks, and perform general light domestic tasks (e.g., sorting and folding laundry).
  • Meal & Shopping Support: Assist with weekly meal planning, writing shopping lists, and grocery shopping.
  • Community Access: Provide safe, structured support for community access, transport, and appointments.
  • Documentation & Safety: Maintain clear shift notes, record client progress, complete incident reports, and participate in case planning meetings.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

  • Complex Care Experience: Background in supporting clients with Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), complex care needs, or trauma-informed environments.
  • Reliability & Communication: Excellent interpersonal communication, active problem-solving skills, and reliable attendance.
  • Essential Qualifications & Credentials:
    • Current First Aid (HLTAID011) & CPR Certificate
    • Valid NDIS Worker Screening Check
    • Valid Working with Children Check (WWCC)
    • Current Australian Driver’s Licence and reliable personal transport
    • Certificate III in Individual Support / Disability or Aged Care (preferred)
