Production Operator/Juice Maker

About the role

We are seeking a Production Operator/Juice Maker to join our team on acasual basis. This role is based in Burleigh Heads, QLD 4220and is a pivotal role in our manufacturing operations. As a Production Operator/Juice Maker, you will be responsible for the production and preparation of raw ingredients into juice machine operation, quality control, and packaging.

We are an expanding cold pressed juice production facility in the Gold Coast area looking for a dedicated person to join our team. Responsibilities include but not limited to raw ingredient processing, machine operation, quality control, and packaging. Our team is warm and welcoming with strong focus on work and development of each other to gain maximum efficiency throughout the business.

What you'll be doing

• Operating and monitoring production equipment for juice products to specified standards
• Measuring and mixing ingredients accurately according to established formulations and recipes
• Maintaining accurate records of production batches, materials used and output quantities
• Performing quality checks on products to ensure they meet company standards and specifications
• Packaging finished products into appropriate containers and labelling according to requirements
• Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards within the production area
• Operating and cleaning production equipment at the end of shifts
• Following all health and safety procedures and protocols within the production facility
• Assisting with inventory management and reporting on stock levels as required
• Communicating effectively with supervisors and team members regarding production progress and any issues encountered

What we're looking for

• Previous experience in production, manufacturing or a similar operational role (desirable but not essential)
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and work accurately to specifications
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
• Basic numeracy skills for measuring and recording production data
• Physical fitness and ability to stand for extended periods and perform manual handling tasks
• Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team
• Reliability and punctuality, particularly important for casual shift work
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and equipment
• Current knowledge of health and safety practices or willingness to receive training
• Flexibility to work varying shifts as required in a casual capacity
