The Role \n

- Manage daily transport requirements from order receipt through to proof of delivery. \n
- Use optimisation and transport management systems (TMS) to schedule, allocate, and monitor freight movements. \n
- Coordinate with carriers to ensure capacity, compliance and on-time performance. \n
- Monitor and resolve operational exceptions, maintaining service levels and cost efficiency. \n
- Maintain accurate data including carrier rates, routes and site information. \n
- Build strong working relationships with customers, carriers, and internal teams. \n
Your Background \n
- \n
- Prior experience in scheduling, transport planning or freight operations. \n
- Knowledge of Australian road transport, carriers, and compliance obligations (including Chain of Responsibility). \n
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a focus on cost and service optimisation. \n
- Experience using TMS or transport planning systems. \n
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders. \n
- Well-developed organisational and self-management skills, with the ability to prioritise in fast-paced environments. \n
