Digital Health & Innovation (DH&I) is seeking a temporary full time (TFT) Product Analyst within our eMeds team!

About the Role

This position will be responsible for the day to day management of activities relevant to the planning, configuration, testing and implementation of the eMR eMeds clinical applications. Current responsibilities include an understanding of multiple Oracle Health/Cerner eMR modules, particularly those relating to Medication Management. Additionally, participation in an after-hours and weekends on-call roster. With current staffing levels the expectation being two weeks every 3 months.

In this role, you will also:

  • be responsible for a range of cross-functional tasks that incorporate business and technical analysis, agile scrum coordination, application configuration and testing capabilities.
  • be responsible for supporting product planning, active project delivery and attending to relevant operational secondlevel support of each product.
  • meet business needs by analysing and prioritising product features, and working closely with other teams to achieve business goals.
  • work closely with business, internal and vendor stakeholders to evaluate business processes, anticipate requirements, enhancement opportunities, to develop, implement and maintain information systems within Digital Health and Innovation.

The Product Analyst is an integral member of the Product Management team working alongside other Product Analysts to service multiple products during projects and on-going support with a focus on continuous improvement activities.

There may be a requirement to work from time to time at other Sydney Local Health District (SLHD) facilities.

Ideal Candidate

  • Relevant clinical background (e.g. Pharmacy, Nursing), and within their application (selection criteria responses, CV or cover letter) be able to demonstrate an understanding of and experience with medication management processes.
  • Experience and a record of achievement working within a product management lifecycle in a large and complex clinical ICT service environment, including relevant bachelor’s degree in ICT or Management or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in the design, configuration and deployment of digital health systems.

Organisational skills and experience working in a high volume and changing professional environment with a capacity to prioritise, multi-task, achieve business goals, perform and always work with a customer-focused approach.
