The Opportunity
We are looking for an energetic and relationship-driven Architectural & Design Consultant to join our Victorian Commercial team.
This is much more than a traditional sales role.
You will become a trusted partner to architects and interior designers, helping them select flooring solutions that elevate their projects while delivering outstanding commercial outcomes.
Key responsibilities include
Building strong relationships with architects, interior designers and commercial specifiers
Driving product specifications into commercial projects across Victoria
Delivering engaging CPD presentations, product launches and design-focused workshops
Identifying and developing opportunities from early project stages through to completion
Collaborating with internal design, product and sales teams to develop tailored flooring solutions
Managing opportunities and project pipelines through CRM systems
Staying connected to industry trends and identifying emerging opportunities
Supporting contractors, retailers and project stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery
About You
You are someone who enjoys connecting with people and building long-term professional relationships.
You bring curiosity, energy and commercial awareness to everything you do, and you're confident presenting ideas, influencing decisions and managing multiple projects at once.
You may already be working in specification sales or have experience within commercial interiors, furniture, architectural products, construction materials, textiles, flooring or a related design-focused industry.
Ideally, you will bring:
Experience working with architects, interior designers or commercial specifiers
Strong communication, presentation and relationship-building skills
The ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively
A proactive and self-motivated approach
Confidence using CRM platforms, Microsoft 365 and digital sales tools
A collaborative mindset and commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences
Qualifications/Experience:
Qualifications in Interior Design, Architecture, Marketing, Business, Sales or a related discipline will be highly regarded.
Experience working with architects, interior designers or within the commercial interiors market.
Experience in specification sales, flooring, furniture, textiles, architectural products or another design-led commercial environment would be well regarded.
Strong presentation, communication and relationship-building skills.
Good organisational skills and confidence using CRM, Microsoft 365, Showpad and other digital business tools.
