Gunnedah Region | 5/4 – 4/5 Roster | 12.5-Hour Shifts

Enshaw Electrical Services is looking for a qualified electrician to join our team in a CHPP Operations / Electrical Technician role in the Gunnedah region.

This is a great opportunity for someone looking for more variety. You'll work across both CHPP operations and electrical maintenance, gaining experience across the entire plant while continuing to develop your trade.

The Role

You'll be involved in:

  • Operating and monitoring CHPP plant and equipment.

  • Train loading and stockpile management.

  • Coal movements and production activities.

  • Plant inspections and responding to operational issues.

  • Electrical breakdowns and fault finding.

  • Preventative electrical maintenance.

  • Motors, conveyors, pumps and control systems.

  • Electrical and group isolations.

  • Shutdowns and plant improvement works.

Previous CHPP experience is great, but isn't essential for the right electrician with a good attitude and willingness to learn.

Training and upskilling opportunities will include:

What You'll Need

  • Current NSW Electrical Licence.

  • Current driver's licence.

  • Unrestricted Australian working rights.

  • Good safety attitude and willingness to learn.

  • Ability to work day and night shifts.

  • Ability to work across both operations and electrical maintenance.

  • Ability to complete a Coal Services Order 43 medical, drug & alcohol screening and site onboarding requirements.

Mining, CHPP, fixed-plant or heavy-industrial experience will be highly regarded but isn't essential.
