South West Child and Family Services Alliance Strategic Facilitator

The South West Child and Family Services Alliance (SWCFSA) is seeking an experienced and highly collaborative Strategic Facilitator to support the Alliance to strengthen outcomes for children, young people and families across South West Victoria.
The SWCFSA brings together child and family services organisations, government and key sector partners to promote coordinated responses for vulnerable children, young people and their families. The Alliance works across the local government areas of Warrnambool, Moyne, Southern Grampians, Glenelg and Corangamite.
About the role
The Strategic Facilitator provides high level coordination and strategic support to the Alliance and its governance structures.
Working closely with Alliance members and key government and community partners, you will support effective governance, strategic planning, research, regional collaboration and continuous improvement.
You will bring together diverse perspectives, identify emerging opportunities and challenges, and help translate regional evidence and priorities into practical action.
The role will suit someone who is highly organised, an excellent communicator and facilitator, and who understands the complexities of the child and family services sector and the importance of working collaboratively across organisations and systems.
About you
We are looking for a strategic and collaborative professional who can work confidently across organisational boundaries and bring people together around shared priorities.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in social work, community services, human services, public policy, business, project management or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
- Demonstrated experience in strategic planning, project coordination, service system development or a related field.
- Strong understanding of the Victorian child and family services sector, including relevant policy, legislative and service system frameworks.
- Highly developed written communication skills, with the ability to prepare clear, concise and high-quality reports, briefings and governance documentation.
- Strong analytical and research skills, including the ability to interpret data and identify emerging trends and priorities.
- Highly developed facilitation, consultation and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Demonstrated ability to build effective relationships across government, community and service organisations.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities, deadlines and projects.
- A commitment to collaboration, continuous improvement, Aboriginal self-determination, inclusion and child and family wellbeing.
The Benefits
This is a permanent full time position which carries a current starting salary of $105,206 per annum, exclusive of superannuation.
