We currently have a full-time opportunity for a passionate individual to join our team as a Employer Engagement Manager in our Gympie & Maryborough office
The Role - A Day in the Life of a Employer Engagement Advisor
As an Employer Engagement Manager, you will play a key role in building and maintaining strong relationships with employers, industry representatives, and community stakeholders to create employment, training and career pathway opportunities for our customers. Working closely with operational teams, you will identify workforce needs, broker opportunities and connect suitable candidates with meaningful and sustainable employment outcomes.
With a strong understanding of local labour markets and a passion for helping people succeed, you will position ETC as a trusted workforce partner while driving positive outcomes for employers, customers and the wider community. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on networking, building partnerships and creating opportunities that change lives.
Your Key Responsibilities will include;
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with employers across the region, particularly medium to large businesses
- Conducting regular employer visits to identify workforce needs, recruitment trends, and emerging opportunities
- Promoting ETC's employment, training, and community services to employers and stakeholders
- Facilitating recruitment activities, workplace visits, employer information sessions, and employment events
- Connecting suitable customers to employment, training, and paid work trial opportunities
- Providing labour market insights and employer feedback to operational teams
- Supporting and mentoring engagement staff while contributing to regional performance outcomes

Criteria for Success
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:
- Experience in employer engagement, recruitment, workforce development, business development, or a related field
- Proven ability to establish and maintain effective stakeholder relationships
- Demonstrated experience in a similar role within WAS/IEA/DES/TtW employment services contracts is highly regarded
- Experience working within a youth cohort
- Strong networking, communication, negotiation, and influencing skills
- Experience identifying and developing employment, training, or career pathway opportunities
- The ability to work towards targets and business objectives
- Knowledge of labour market trends and workforce needs
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- The ability to support and mentor team members
- A current Driver Licence
- A current, clear National Police Check or willingness to obtain
- A currentBlue Card
