The Role

The Boarding House Supervisors play an important role in the daily life of our boarding community, providing care, guidance and supervision to ensure boarders feel supported, connected and at home.

With a strong pastoral care focus, the successful candidate will support boarders in an assigned year level with their routines, wellbeing and academic commitments while they are living away from home.

Whilst you may choose to live onsite this is not a requirement of the role. It is, however, a requirement to do multiple sleepover shifts as rostered weekly. Hours will be allocated on a roster system across 7 days of the week. The majority of shifts are of an evening. This is a full‑time role commencing in Term 1, 2027.

The successful candidate

We are looking for someone who enjoys working with young people and can contribute to a warm, structured and welcoming home away from home. The successful candidate will demonstrate:

  • Experience working with children and teenagers
  • A caring, supportive approach balanced with consistency and structure
  • An ability to build genuine rapport with boarders, parents and staff
  • Commitment to rostered shifts across seven days during term time
  • Confidence maintaining boarding routines, rules and procedures
  • Study in education, health science or similar would be highly regarded
