PYTHA / ALPHACAM Drafter – Residential & Commercial Joinery
VBP Interiors is looking for an experienced PYTHA / ALPHACAM Drafter to prepare detailed drawings and CNC programs for residential and commercial cabinetry and joinery projects. Hands-on cabinetmaking experience is essential.
Based in Condell Park, you’ll work closely with our project managers and workshop team to take projects from architectural plans and design concepts through to manufacture and installation.

VBP Interiors is looking for an experienced PYTHA / ALPHACAM Drafter to prepare detailed drawings and CNC programs for residential and commercial cabinetry and joinery projects. Hands-on cabinetmaking experience is essential.
Based in Condell Park, you’ll work closely with our project managers and workshop team to take projects from architectural plans and design concepts through to manufacture and installation.
The role
Create detailed 3D models and shop drawings using PYTHA.
Prepare CNC programs using ALPHACAM.
Interpret architectural plans, specifications and site measurements.
Prepare drawings for client approval and workshop production.
Manage revisions and check dimensions, materials, hardware and construction details.
Work with the workshop team to ensure drawings and machining information meet production requirements.
Manage drafting and programming deadlines across multiple projects.
About you
You’re organised, detail-focused and understand how quality joinery goes together. You take pride in producing accurate drawings and machining programs that the workshop can confidently work from.
You’ll bring:
Hands-on cabinetmaking experience — essential.
Experience using PYTHA for cabinetry or joinery drafting.
Experience using ALPHACAM for CNC programming.
A strong understanding of joinery construction, materials and hardware.
The ability to read and interpret architectural drawings.
A practical approach to problem-solving.
Clear communication skills and the ability to work independently and within a team.
Experience managing offshore drafting teams is preferred, including allocating work, reviewing drawings and coordinating deadlines.
A cabinetmaking trade qualification would be highly regarded.

A full-time position based in Condell Park, Sydney.
$110,000–$130,000 plus super, based on skills and experience.
A mix of residential and commercial joinery projects.
Close involvement with projects from drafting through to manufacture and installation.
