About the role
\n
As a Support Worker - Catering Assistant, you will support the Chef / Chef Manager and peers in delivering a high quality catering service within the home.
\n
Key Responsibilities:
\n
- \n
- Ensuring the catering service is adhering to all regulatory and compliance requirement \n
- Completing all appropriate food safety record forms as per legislation requirements. \n
- Ensuring that all duties are worked in accordance with the Food Safety Program at all times \n
- Ensuring uniforms, appropriate protective clothing and footwear is worn whilst in the workplace. \n
- Follow strategies in the Food Safety Plan to prevent cross contamination from occurring. \n
- Prepare daily meals including beverages for residents that meet the special dietary requirements as instructed by the Chef Manager or Chef/Cook. \n

What you bring:

- \n
- Follow Basic Food Safety Practices Certificate (Health Care Competencies) \n
- Experience in a similar role in residential care, health care or hospitality sectors \n
- Knowledge and experience in safe food handling \n
