Key Responsibilities
- Lead the elicitation, analysis, documentation, validation, and stakeholder agreement of business, functional, data, integration, and non-functional requirements.
- Analyse current and future-state asset management processes and develop process models, system context views, information flows, use cases, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Define system boundaries and integration requirements between AMS, CDSS, and connected systems, including data content, direction, timing, validation, error handling, APIs, and data flows.
- Develop source-to-target mappings, business rules, data definitions, quality rules, and migration requirements from legacy systems.
- Identify and resolve requirements gaps, conflicting needs, dependencies, and delivery risks while maintaining end-to-end traceability through to testing and acceptance.
- Facilitate technical and business workshops across operational, technical, vendor, and delivery stakeholders to support solution delivery and operational readiness.
About You
- Demonstrated experience as a Technical Business Analyst delivering complex technology projects involving interconnected systems, data, and business processes.
- Strong experience defining clear, testable business, functional, data, and integration requirements, including data mapping, validation, and exception handling.
- Proven ability to establish requirements in an ambiguous, fast-paced delivery environment and proactively drive consensus across business, technical, and vendor stakeholders.
- Highly desirable: Experience in a regulated, safety-critical, or public-sector operational environment (e.g., transport, enforcement, compliance).
- Highly desirable: Experience with asset management solutions (e.g., Hardcat), API/interface requirements, data migration from legacy sources, and Agile frameworks.
