Laundry Operations Assistant

About the Role

Quality Linen Service is looking for a reliable and motivated Laundry Operations Assistant to join our Moama-based team. This hands-on role involves working across multiple areas of the laundry, including RFID scanning of linen, packing, dispatching, and general production duties.

While the role is primarily operational, the right person will have the opportunity to gradually take on additional responsibility and support the business in a leadership capacity when needed. Training and support will be provided.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform RFID scanning and processing of linen
• Assist with packing, sorting, and preparing linen for dispatch
• Support dispatch operations and workflow
• Contribute to daily production tasks within the laundry
• Follow all safety, hygiene, and operational policies
• Maintain a clean and organised work environment

Requirements

• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn a variety of tasks
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently when required
• Good communication skills and positive team attitude
• Basic device, scanning, or computer skills (training provided)
• Previous laundry, warehouse, production, or dispatch experience (advantageous but not essential)
