Assistant Manager

$70,000 – $100 000 per year plus bonuses
Location: Southport | Full-time 38 hrs per week | Monday to Saturday Availability

We're currently looking for a reliable, motivated, and customer-focused Assistant Manager to join our team.

Your Role

• Opening and closing of the store


• Selling jewellery using excellent interpersonal and sales skills


• Buying and providing loans on gold jewellery


• Merchandising, displays and promotions


• Developing and implementing of systems and procedures


• Website Management


• Prior knowledge of gold valuation and jewellery assessment is preferred but not essential


• Collaborating with the team to achieve daily and long-term business goals

About You

• A minimum of 3 years managerial experience


• Face-to-face sales experience, specifically in jewellery, is required


• A friendly, approachable personality and a positive attitude


• Australian work rights or valid visa to work in Australia


• Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with a diverse customer base


• A desire for long-term involvement in a growing business


• An honest, dependable, and professional approach to work


• The flexibility and motivation to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment

Desirable (but not essential)

• Experience in jewellery buying
