Seventh-day Adventist Schools (Victoria) Ltd is seeking an enthusiastic Physical and HealthTeacher to join the team at Heritage College, Officer.


This is a Full-time and Permanentposition, commencing in Term 1 2027.

Key Responsibilities



  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging, differentiated learning programs aligned with the Australian Curriculum, integrating ICT and using effective assessment strategies to evaluate and enhance student outcomes.

  • Apply evidence-based teaching practices and reflect critically on feedback to continuously improve professional knowledge, skills, and student learning.

  • Collaborate with colleagues to foster a culture of improvement in teaching and learning within the school and the wider Seventh-day Adventist school system.

  • Actively support and promote the Christian-based values and ethos of the College, including planning and leading daily Christian devotions, in alignment with the mission of the Seventh-day Adventist Church.

  • Engage in professional learning to stay current with educational research and contribute to school priorities, while modelling the College?s values and behaviours.

  • Current VIT registration and relevant teaching qualifications

Screening Requirements:



  • Reference checks will be undertaken including referencing your ability to work safely with children

  • Position is subject to maintaining registration with VIT

  • By applying for this role, you consent to Adventist Schools Victoria submitting your name to be screened by Adsafe Limited, the child protection arm of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, to see whether any child related concerns or risks about you are known to the SDA Church


Heritage College provides co-educational Christian education from 3 and 4-year-old Early Learning through to Year 12.


The salary range is $86k-128k based on years of experience.
