Our client is a well-established, privately owned Sydney workroom specialising in the custom manufacture of premium window furnishings across residential and commercial sectors. POSITION

A Fabric Cutter position is now available to join the production team in their Sydney workroom.

• Accurately cut fabric for custom curtains, roman blinds and soft furnishings to precise measurements and cut sheets.
• Interpret and work from job sheets, specifications and cutting plans with accuracy and efficiency.
• Prepare and organise cut fabric for machinists and the broader production team.
• Maintain fabric stock, minimise wastage and keep the workroom organised and tidy.
• Ensure all cut pieces meet quality standards before moving to the next production stage.
• Work closely with the team to meet production schedules and delivery timeframes.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

To be considered it is vital that you have the following:

• Any experience as a fabric cutter in curtains, blinds or soft furnishings manufacturing
• Ability to read and work accurately from cut sheets
• Strong attention to detail
• Good communication skills and a team-first attitude
• Experience in a workroom or manufacturing environment preferred
