The Role

We are seeking a compassionate and enthusiastic Lifestyle Assistant to join our team on casual basis. If you are passionate about a person-centred approach to care, this is your opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our residents.

As a Lifestyle Assistant, you will be at the heart of creating joy and connection, designing and delivering meaningful activities that bring smiles, laughter, and a sense of community. Every day is unique, allowing you to tailor programs to individual interests and care plans, while fostering a warm, inclusive environment that reflects Apollo Care’s commitment to holistic, resident-centred care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement individual and group leisure activities that cater to residents' needs, abilities, and interests
  • Develop and maintain personalized lifestyle care plans
  • Engage with residents and their families to create a sense of belonging and inclusion
  • Collaborate with the Lifestyle Team and care staff to support the holistic well‑being of residents
  • Ensure compliance with Aged Care Quality Standards
  • Maintain secure and accurate care records

Qualifications and Experience

  • Minimum of 2 year of experience as a Lifestyle Assistant and/or Aged Care -desirable
  • Certificate III or IV in Leisure & Lifestyle or Diversional Therapy Qualification - desirable
  • Certificate III in Aged Care (highly desirable)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Currently hold an NDIS Worker Clearance (or willing to obtain)
