About the Role
FinXL are seeking an experienced Senior Solutions Architect to lead end-to-end target state architecture, detailed design, and governance assurance for a high-profile Enterprise Risk, Compliance, and Assurance Framework (ERCAF) Technology Project.
Operating with a high degree of autonomy, you will lead the transition of a non-production compliance pilot into a governed, integrated, and fully supported enterprise SaaS capability. This position bridges key business compliance requirements with robust technical architecture across Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) platforms, enterprise integration layers, identity and access management, and core ERP environments.
Key Responsibilities
End-to-End Architecture: Author formal high-level and low-level architectural artifacts (SAD, HLD, LLD) for an enterprise SaaS deployment.
Ecosystem Integration: Architect secure integration patterns connecting a third-party GRC SaaS platform with core systems, including SAP RISE / SAP BTP, Databricks, SQL environments, and SharePoint.
Security & Identity Governance: Design federated identity, SSO, SCIM provisioning, and RBAC models utilising Microsoft Entra cloud-based identity and network access products.
Governance & Assurance: Drive architectural proposals through formal Architecture Review Boards (ARB/AWG) and gated delivery frameworks.
Technical Leadership: Act as the strategic architectural bridge between business risk/compliance stakeholders and delivery/engineering teams.
Key Requirements
Essential Experience:
GRC Platform Architecture: Proven track record designing enterprise-scale Governance, Risk, and Compliance solutions.
SAP Ecosystem Integration: Hands-on experience designing integration patterns with SAP S/4HANA under SAP RISE using SAP Integration Suite / SAP BTP.
Enterprise Integration & Middleware: Extensive experience in API management, interface cataloging, middleware design, and secure message transmission layers.
Security & Access Design: Strong background in enterprise security standards, SSO, SCIM provisioning, and RBAC models using Microsoft Entra.
Formal Governance: Demonstrated history of navigating formal architectural review boards (ARB / AWG) and producing high-standard architectural documentation.
Regulated Industry Background: Prior architectural experience within regulated sectors, public utilities, or government-owned corporations.
Desirable Experience:
Familiarity with Enterprise Architecture tools such as LeanIX.
Experience with Project & Portfolio Management (PPM) system integrations (e.g., MS Project, Planisware).
Relevant industry certifications (e.g., TOGAF, Azure/AWS Solutions Architect, ISO 27001).
