ABOUT THE ROLE

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Office Supervisor with a customer service focus to join our Caringbah office.

This position oversees the Client Experience team providing support and supervision to our front-line staff. You will have a day-to-day responsibility for the management of the region’s resources, including buildings, and IT infrastructure. Support administrative services and provide training and support.

Working with vulnerable families and clients, this role requires a passionate and empathetic leader with demonstrated previous management or supervisory experience in a service delivery environment.

Key Duties

  • Line manage and supervise staff, including rostering, induction of new staff and annual performance reviews/performance management
  • Support staff as required to undertake administrative duties, including accounts, reporting, banking, mail and initial assessments of client needs, making ongoing client appointments and facilitating referrals to Interrelate
  • Working with the broader leadership team to manage the day-to-day office requirements
  • Responding to client and community inquiries, initial management of client complaints, providing information about Interrelate services to clients and the community.
  • Being well-informed about relevant and appropriate community services in the area to facilitate effective referrals
  • In conjunction with Leaders, Coordinators and staff, have oversight of subpoena management in the region to ensure a timely and appropriate response
  • Ensure office/s within the region are maintained and fit for purpose including outreach offices
  • In conjunction with the leadership team, support the facilitation of groups in the region, including managing correspondence, schedules, promotion & resources

Location: Caringbah office

Employment Type: Maximum Term (Parental Leave Cover) contract position, up to 14 January 2028 (estimated commencement, late November 2026)

Hours of Work: 75 hours per fortnight, Monday to Friday

Hourly Rate: in line with a SCHADS Award level 4 position, with an hourly rate of $51.94, plus superannuation, and access to NFP Salary packaging benefits.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum 2 years demonstrated experience in a front-line office administration role in a community organisation or other client service environment with a strong client focus
  • Demonstrated previous management or supervisory experience and/or a relevant qualification is highly desirable
  • Intermediate keyboard and computing skills and experience with a CRM & MS Office software
  • Strong client service focus with good interpersonal skills in working with people from diverse backgrounds, including children
  • Highly developed administrative, organisational and multi-tasking skills
  • Ability to deal with personal and sensitive subject matter and maintain confidentiality
  • Ability to liaise effectively with clients and maintain professional boundaries when dealing with conflict
  • Good interpersonal, verbal & written communication skills
