Casual Cleaner | $35 p/h + super | Paid fortnightly | Weekday work only | 4-10 hours per week initially

CBC is a growing local cleaning business servicing Sydney's Inner West and Lower North Shore, and we're looking for a reliable and detail-focused cleaner to join the team.

We're getting busier and are looking for someone who genuinely wants ongoing, flexible weekday work, with the opportunity to take on more hours as the business grows.

This is a casual employee position with approximately 4-10 hours per week initially, with scope to increase over time.

This role could suit someone looking for flexible weekday work around study, family commitments or another part-time role, or someone returning to the workforce who is looking to build up regular hours.

About the role

  • You'll primarily complete residential cleaning for regular and one-off clients across Sydney's Inner West and Lower North Shore.
  • Weekday work only - no weekends
  • Local jobs across the Inner West and Lower North Shore
  • Cleaning products, equipment and uniform supplied
  • Training, clear procedures and cleaning checklists provided
  • Opportunity for additional hours as the business grows
  • Future pay reviews as the role develops

Typical duties include

  • Vacuuming and mopping
  • Cleaning kitchens, bathrooms and toilets
  • Dusting and wiping surfaces
  • General household cleaning
  • Using appropriate products and methods for different surfaces
  • Following client notes and CBC cleaning procedures
  • Maintaining a consistently high standard of presentation and attention to detail

About you

We're looking for someone who:

  • Has strong attention to detail

  • Is happy to follow established training, systems and checklists

Previous professional cleaning experience is desirable, but the right attitude, reliability and willingness to learn are equally important.

Requirements

Due to the travel involved in the role and the need to transport cleaning equipment, you must:

  • Hold a current driver's licence and have reliable access to a car
  • Be able to travel between jobs across the Inner West and Lower North Shore
  • Hold a current National Police Check, or be willing to obtain one at your own cost
  • Have Australian working rights
  • Be available for weekday daytime work
