Chef / Chef de Partie – Pasta, Charcoal & Pizza

Sylvs is a new modern Italian restaurant in Miami, combining great Italian food, charcoal cooking, pizza and a strong music-led atmosphere.
We're looking for an experienced and passionate Chef / Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team.
The role will work across our pasta, charcoal grill and potentially pizza sections, depending on your experience and strengths. You don't need to have worked extensively in all three areas - we're more interested in finding someone with solid chef experience, a great attitude and a genuine passion for cooking.
About the role
You'll be involved in:
Preparing and cooking fresh pasta dishes
Working on our charcoal grill section
Pizza preparation and cooking where applicable
Maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation
Preparing your section for busy services
Working closely with the Head Chef and wider kitchen team
Maintaining excellent cleanliness, organisation and food safety standards
Contributing ideas and helping develop the kitchen as Sylvs grows
About you
We're looking for someone who:
Has previous experience working as a chef in a busy restaurant
Is passionate about food and takes pride in their cooking
Has experience in pasta, charcoal/grill cooking or pizza - experience across all areas is not essential
Works well under pressure
Is organised and reliable
Enjoys working as part of a close kitchen team
Has a positive attitude and wants to continue developing their skills
Experience with Italian food, fresh pasta, wood-fired pizza, charcoal or open-fire cooking would be highly regarded.
