Our client is seeking an experienced IT Applications Administrator to support, manage and enhance a portfolio of critical enterprise applications within a complex and highly regulated environment. This is an excellent opportunity to work across cloud platforms, application integrations, databases, automation, and business-critical systems while contributing to ongoing digital transformation initiatives
Key responsibilities include:
- Administer, support and continuously improve the Memorial's business application portfolio, including Collection Management Systems (CMS), Digital Asset Management Systems (DAMS), Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platforms and associated integrations.
- Act as the technical custodian for designated business applications, including vendor engagement, application configuration, release management, lifecycle planning, operational support, installation, monitoring and maintenance;
- Manage integrations and data flows between business applications, databases, cloud services and enterprise platforms;
- Ensure business applications are maintained in accordance with the Information Security Manual (ISM), Protective Security Policy Framework (PSPF) and Memorial security requirements;
- Document software applications and associated support procedures, including the development and maintenance of IT Service Management (ITSM) processes such as standard changes, incident management and problem management
To be successful in this position, you will demonstrate:
- Experience administering enterprise business applications in complex environments.
- Strong database experience with SQL Server, Oracle and/or PostgreSQL.
- Experience with application integrations, APIs, ETL processes and automation.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 technologies including Entra ID, Azure SQL and Azure Storage.
- Experience supporting production environments through incident, problem, change and release management.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
Desirable
- PowerShell scripting and automation.
- Digital Asset Management Systems (DAMS).
- Collection Management Systems (CMS).
- Experience delivering within Government or other highly regulated environments
