Labourer – Tyre Service | Full Training Provided

Looking for a hands-on role where you can work independently, stay active, and build specialised skills?

We are currently seeking a Road Service Press Operator to join our Solid Plus team based in Dandenong, VIC. This is a field-based position servicing customers across the region, offering variety in your day and the opportunity to develop within a specialised area of the tyre industry.

About the role

We are currently seeking a Road Service Press Operator to join our Solid Plus team based in Dandenong, VIC. This is a field-based position servicing customers across the region, offering variety in your day and the opportunity to develop within a specialised area of the tyre industry.

What you’ll be doing

  • Travelling to customer sites in a company vehicle
  • Operating press equipment for solid tyre fitting and servicing
  • Carrying out tyre replacement, maintenance, and repairs on industrial equipment
  • Working autonomously to manage your daily service schedule
  • Delivering a high standard of workmanship and customer service
  • Ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with company procedures

Why you would be successful

  • A mechanically minded approach with hands-on experience in tyre fitting or a similar field (automotive, commercial or industrial)
  • Strong work ethic with a reliable and self-motivated attitude
  • Ability to manage your time effectively and work independently on the road
  • Comfortable performing physically demanding work, including manual handling
  • Willingness to travel for work, including occasional overnight stays (1–2 nights per month)
  • Confident communicator who can build positive relationships with customers
  • Commitment to maintaining a high standard of health and safety in the workplace
  • Current MR truck licence (essential)
  • Forklift licence, or willingness to obtain
  • Physically fit and capable of meeting the inherent requirements of the role
