An outstanding opportunity has arisen for an experienced Legal Secretary to join a highly regarded specialist law firm recognised for its expertise in Employment, Industrial Relations and Workplace Law.
Supporting a nationally recognised Partner, you will play a key role in a busy and successful practice advising major employers across a diverse range of industries including government, construction, infrastructure, banking and finance, resources and utilities.
This is a rare opportunity to work closely with a market leading lawyer who is known for providing strategic advice on complex employment matters, workplace disputes, industrial relations issues and high profile litigation.
The Role
Working as a true right-hand support person, your duties will include:
- Extensive diary and inbox management
- Preparation, editing and formatting of legal documents and correspondence
- File and matter management
- Court and tribunal filing
- Monthly billing and expense management
- Client liaison and stakeholder management
- Coordination of meetings, travel and events
- Practice and administrative support to a busy Partner
About You
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- 5+ Years Experience as a Legal Secretary
- Experience working in Employment Law
- Reliable, proactive, and an ability to think outside the box
- Strong document formatting and technical skills
- Excellent organisational and time management abilities
- A proactive and professional approach
- Outstanding attention to detail
- The ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues alike
