trainee property manager
Leasing Albury Wodonga is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Trainee Property Manager to join our growing team in Albury, NSW. This is a full-time position that offers an exciting opportunity to launch your career in residential property management. You will work under the mentorship of experienced professionals, gaining practical knowledge and skills in all aspects of property management whilst contributing to the smooth operation of our residential portfolio. This role is fundamental to our continued success and will provide you with a comprehensive introduction to the property management industry.
Key responsibilities
- Assisting with the day-to-day management of residential properties, including rent collection, maintenance coordination and tenant communication
- Supporting the preparation and management of lease agreements and tenancy documentation
- Conducting property inspections and preparing detailed inspection reports
- Responding to tenant enquiries and requests in a timely and professional manner
- Assisting with tenant onboarding and offboarding procedures
- Supporting the coordination of maintenance and repairs with contractors and service providers
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date property records and documentation
- Assisting with financial reporting and reconciliation of property accounts
- Developing knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations and best practice in residential property management
- Supporting senior property managers with administrative and operational tasks as required
What we’re looking for
- A strong desire to build a career in property management with enthusiasm and commitment to professional development
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with tenants, landlords and service providers
- Strong organisational and time management abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficiency with computer systems and software, including Microsoft Office applications
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Reliability, trustworthiness and professional integrity
- A valid driver's licence
- Completion of Year 12 or equivalent qualification
- Previous customer service experience or an administrative background would be advantageous
- A willingness to undertake relevant training and obtain property management qualifications
