Deputy Principal - Operations
The ideal applicant should possess exceptional communication and leadership abilities, collaborating closely with the Senior Leadership Team, especially with Heads of Learning Areas (HOLAs) and Program Coordinators. This role is crucial in guiding the school's ongoing improvement efforts. The successful applicant should be highly motivated, relationship-oriented, and committed to developing timetables and operational processes that ensure every student has a pathway to a successful future.
- Timetabling (Creation, adjustment, maintenance, Oversight of student and teacher allocation)
- Working with Student Service Managers and the Pathway Manager to ensure students have access to subject pathways which suit their needs
- Kaartdijin rollout (coordination of phased Compass rollout as specified in planning)
- Reporting to parents (assessment outlines SCSA compliance and uploads)
- Exam timetables 10,11/12 (planning, development, rollout)
- Staff PD, whole school (development of whole‑school PD to meet the direction of the school)
- NAPLAN and Specialist program testing
- Line managing a range of Learning Areas, including Performance Development.
- Other identified operational processes to ensure the efficient running of school processes.

Eligibility
- be an Australian or NewZealand citizen, permanent resident or have a valid visa with relevant work rights for the term of the appointment.
- hold registration with the Teacher Registration Board of Western Australia
- obtain a valid Working With Children Check before you start; and
- consent to a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and obtain a current Screening Clearance Number issued by the Department of Education's Screening Unit before you start.
