We are looking for someone who loves food, with previous experience working in a fresh food retail business (highly regarded) and a real people person.
If you enjoy working with people, delivering great customer service and developing your leadership skills, this is a great opportunity to take the next step in your retail career.
What this role will offer you
As a Grocery Section Lead, you'll support the Store Manager in leading the team and running the department day to day.
You'll ensure shelves are well stocked, displays are presented to a high standard, and customers have a great shopping experience every time they visit.
What we need you to do
- Lead and support the Grocery team to deliver outstanding customer service.
- Ensure shelves are stocked, faced up and ready for trade.
- Assist with ordering, stock replenishment and inventory levels.
- Drive sales, control stock loss and reduce waste.
- Coach and develop team members.
- Deliver promotional and seasonal displays to a high standard.
- Monitor product quality, stock rotation and date checking.
- Assist with deliveries and back-of-house organisation.
- Maintain food safety, WHS and company standards.
- Work collaboratively with other departments across the store.
- Support the Store Manager and help lead the store when required.
