Fingo Finance is a financial services company specialising in car finance, credit applications and loan settlements.

We are looking for an experienced Settlements & Credit Officer to join our Moorabbin team. This is a hands‑on, high‑volume processing role suited to someone with solid experience in finance settlements, credit administration or automotive lending. The primary purpose of this role is to process finance applications and settlements accurately, efficiently and compliantly, while maintaining clear and professional communication with lenders, customers and internal stakeholders. You will be responsible for managing finance documentation, coordinating settlement requirements and ensuring applications are processed in accordance with lender requirements and Fingo Finance policies and procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Process approved applications through to settlement.
• Verify customer information, income documentation, identification and finance documents.
• Identify discrepancies, missing information and outstanding lender conditions.
• Prepare settlement files in accordance with lender and Fingo Finance requirements.
• Liaise with lenders to obtain approvals, clear conditions and complete settlements.
• Coordinate with customers, dealers, brokers and internal teams to resolve outstanding requirements.
• Complete accurate data entry into lender and internal systems.
• Ensure loan documentation and settlement requirements are completed before settlement.
• Monitor settlement queues and manage files against required turnaround times.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with relevant policies and procedures.
• Identify and elevate credit, documentation or settlement issues where required.
• Assist with post-settlement queries and exceptions.
• Maintain current knowledge of lender credit policies, processes and requirements.

About you

• Previous experience (ideally 3+ years) in financial services, credit, settlements or a similar role.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
• The ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks in a high-volume environment.
• Managing settlement deadlines and SLA's.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a professional telephone manner.
• The ability to handle confidential information in line with current legislation.
