Job description

For more than 8 years, Sowena has been proudly supporting over 800 NDIS clients right across Victoria. We support people with a disability to access and participate in their community. Everything we do is centered around the people we serve. Our promise is simple: a reliable, friendly and personalised service every single time. Our Schedulers are a big part of that commitment, and we take great care in who joins our team.

The Role

The role is part time, 4 days a week (0.8 FTE) Tuesday – Friday. Choose your start and finish time, starting anytime between 7am and 11am.

You will be the person who makes sure every service has been organised reliably. Your focus is coordinating and scheduling services for our NDIS clients, getting every detail right so they can count on us, every time.

You will be the first friendly voice for people enquiring about our services. Guiding new clients through intake and matching them with support workers who suit their needs, personality and preferences.

Every day you will help clients and support workers with their scheduling questions. They will rely on you to respond in a way that's warm, sensitive, professional and prompt.

This is a busy role with a high volume of bookings and enquiries.

  • Are warm and friendly and can provide professional customer service
  • Have the ability to adapt your communication to suit each person's understanding and needs
  • Enjoy and get satisfaction from a high volume role
  • Stay calm and professional when things are busy
  • Have a sharp eye for detail and can maintain accuracy throughout the day
  • Care about people and want to help
  • Are confident using Gmail, Excel, Google Calendar, Google Maps and Google Workspace
  • Evidence of right to work in Australia
  • NDIS 'Quality Safety and You' module completion (short, free online course)

What You Can Expect From Us

  • A supportive, caring team behind you every step of the way
  • Above award pay (role is classified at SCHADS level 3)
  • Flexibility, work 100% from home with the ability to choose your start time between 7am to 11am
  • Rewarding, people-focused work that creates real and meaningful impact

We welcome applications from people of all backgrounds, especially those with lived experience of disability.
