About the Role

Talentblue has been exclusively engaged to recruit a driven and experienced Project Manager. Reporting directly to the Project Team Manager, your primary objective will be to manage all stages of the project to ensure successful completion within budget, on time, and to a high standard of quality. You will lead a high-performing team and be responsible for supervising Site Managers, Junior Site Managers, Labourers, and Project Coordinators.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Scheduling & Planning:Create and maintain construction schedules using MS Project, execute critical path planning, and optimise resources to meet time and cost restraints.
  • Operational Delivery:Manage multiple projects concurrently, ensure contractual obligations are understood, and rectify any quality or defect issues promptly.
  • Financial Management:Forecast project costs and resource utilisation, prepare budget estimates, and manage all financial aspects of the project using Jobpac software.
  • Leadership:Foster a positive team environment, assign tasks, provide guidance to junior team members, and ensure effective management of all site personnel.
  • Client & Customer Satisfaction:Maintain a client-focused attitude, organise regular site and PCG meetings, and effectively manage client expectations regarding project delivery and variations.
  • Design & Compliance:Manage consultants to prepare project documentation, identify constructability issues, and ensure strict compliance with OHS, Quality, and Environmental standards.

Experience & Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of relevant experience, demonstrating strong technical expertise and accountability for results in a similar-sized business.
  • Alternatively, candidates who have worked on several projects as an associate project manager and consistently exceeded expectations will be highly considered.
  • Strong competencies in leadership, health and safety, commercial acumen, conflict management, and strategic thinking.
  • The ability to fulfil role responsibilities independently with minimal supervision.
