Senior Management Accountant

Job Description

The Opportunity An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Senior Management Accountant to join a large, site-based manufacturing operation. This role will play a key part in supporting operational performance through high-quality financial reporting, commercial analysis, budgeting, forecasting and business partnering. \n
\n Working closely with site leadership, operational teams and finance stakeholders, you will provide insights that drive decision-making, support financial governance and help deliver strong business outcomes. \n
Key Responsibilities \n

• Prepare and deliver accurate weekly and monthly financial reporting.
\n
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and latest estimate processes.
\n
• Analyse manufacturing costs, overheads and operational performance.
\n
• Provide detailed variance analysis and actionable business insights.
\n
• Support month-end close activities, journals and balance sheet reconciliations.
\n
• Partner with site leaders to improve financial and operational outcomes.
\n
• Assist with capital project analysis, business cases and performance tracking.
\n
• Support audit requirements, financial controls and governance processes.
\n
• Monitor key performance indicators and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
\n
• Manage and report on operational expenditure, including maintenance and site costs.
\n

The Candidate \n

\n
• CA or CPA qualification (or near completion).
\n
• Experience within manufacturing, FMCG, industrial or a similarly complex operational environment.
\n
• Strong management accounting, budgeting and forecasting capabilities.
\n
• Sound financial accounting and reporting experience.
\n
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
\n
• Advanced Excel skills and experience working with ERP systems.
\n
• A collaborative approach with the ability to build relationships across all levels of a business.
\n
• Strong communication skills and the confidence to influence operational stakeholders.
\n
• The ability to work autonomously and take ownership of key finance processes.
\n
