Job description

Ventair is seeking an experienced and hands‑on Marketing Manager to lead our marketing function for an 12-month parental leave period.

Reporting directly to the Group Marketing Manager, you will lead a team of three comprising two Marketing Coordinators and a Graphic Designer. You will also work closely with the General Manager, Product and Sourcing Manager, and other key stakeholders across the business.

This is a broad role that combines strategic marketing leadership with hands‑on delivery. You will be responsible for strengthening the Ventair brand, supporting product expansion and ensuring our marketing activity is aligned with the commercial priorities of the business.

About the role

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and implementing marketing strategies that increase brand awareness, market presence and demand for Ventair products
  • Leading and supporting the marketing team, including managing priorities, performance and workflow
  • Planning and delivering integrated marketing campaigns across digital, social media, print and other channels
  • Managing new product launches in partnership with the Product and Sourcing, Operations and Sales teams
  • Overseeing the development of product literature, sales promotions, catalogues, packaging, presentations, newsletters, point of sale materials and other marketing collateral
  • Developing digital marketing and website strategies that improve customer experience, promote product benefits and support sales performance
  • Leading the development of social media campaigns, including content creation, scheduling and performance reporting
  • Coordinating advertising, editorial content, press releases, case studies and customer testimonials
  • Using sales data, digital analytics, customer feedback and market research to identify opportunities and assess campaign performance
  • Monitoring competitor activity, market trends and emerging opportunities
  • Planning and coordinating exhibitions, trade events, conferences, sponsorships, training events and sales conferences
  • Developing and managing the marketing budget and reporting expenditure against agreed plans
  • Managing relationships with publishers, printers, event suppliers and other external providers
  • Providing regular updates on marketing projects, priorities, performance and outcomes to key stakeholders

About you

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

  • Tertiary qualifications in marketing, business, communications or a related discipline
  • Demonstrated experience in a Marketing Manager or comparable senior marketing role
  • Experience leading, coaching and developing a small marketing or creative team
  • Strong experience across brand management, communications and campaign delivery
  • Practical experience delivering new product launches, sales promotions and marketing programs
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail
  • The confidence to work closely with senior leaders and influence stakeholders across different business functions
  • A proactive, resourceful and collaborative approach, with the ability to move comfortably between strategy and hands‑on delivery

Experience in a product-based, manufacturing, wholesale or trade environment would be highly regarded.

This is an excellent opportunity to lead an established marketing team and take ownership of a varied portfolio of brands, products and marketing initiatives.

We also offer a range of employee benefits including:

  • Novated Leasing
  • Employee Assistance Program and Wellbeing Initiatives
  • Social functions, end of year celebrations and Christmas gifts
  • Annual salary reviews and bonus programs
  • On-site free company gym
  • Extensive learning and development program
  • Higher educational assistance program
  • Shutdown over the Christmas and New Years period

While the initial appointment is an 12-month parental leave contract, there may be an opportunity for the role to be extended. The successful candidate may also gain exposure to, and potentially support, other brands within our broader group of businesses across Australia.

We are looking for someone who can commence as soon as possible and quickly build strong relationships across the business.

If you are an experienced marketing leader who enjoys combining strategic thinking, team leadership and hands‑on delivery, we would welcome your application.
