Senior Vice President, Country Head

The Company is seeking a Country Head for Australia, a senior executive role with a primary focus on market and client representation, commercial leadership, and location culture. The successful candidate will be the senior market-facing leader, responsible for strengthening client relationships, deepening market presence, and driving commercial outcomes across business lines. This role demands a figurehead who can bring together the local leadership team, reinforce a unified mindset, and role-model the firm’s culture and values. The Country Head will also be tasked with operating as the Client Portfolio Lead for the Australian and New Zealand client base, serving as an executive sponsor for key client relationships, and working with business unit heads to identify and drive cross-business commercial opportunities.Applicants for the Country Head position must have substantial senior executive leadership experience within a complex, highly regulated financial services organization. The role requires a candidate with strong commercial acumen, a broad understanding of the institutional financial services landscape, and a proven track record of building trusted relationships with major clients. The ideal candidate will have established credibility and a strong market profile in Australia, with the executive presence and communication skills necessary to represent the company with various external stakeholders. Leadership through influence, and a demonstrated ability to bring senior leaders together to drive enterprise-wide outcomes, are essential for this role. The Country Head will also be responsible for regulatory matters and must ensure that the branch operates within the approved risk appetite and meets all legal, regulatory, and fiduciary obligations.
