1st/2nd Year Apprentice hairdresser
About the role
Coorparoo Tigerlamb and King St, Bowens Hills is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic 1st or Second Year Apprentice hairdressers to join our dynamic team in our Brisbane salons. We are looking for non-'mature age' apprentices (20 years and under) at this time. This is a full-time apprenticeship position based at our Coorparoo and King street locations where you will have the opportunity to learn the craft of hairdressing and develop your skills under the guidance of our experienced stylists. The apprenticeship is structured to be obtained over a 3 year period facilitated by the salon and a national set curriculum hosted by an RTO for guidance, training and qualification.
What you'll be doing
- Assisting senior stylists with client consultations, hair washing, blow-drying, and other basic salon duties
- Gaining hands-on experience in cutting, colouring, and styling hair under the supervision of experienced stylists
- Attending and participating in training sessions to develop your hairdressing skills and knowledge
- Maintaining a clean and organised work area, ensuring high standards of hygiene and safety
- Providing excellent customer service to our clients and contributing to a positive salon environment
