Early Childhood Teacher | Nominated Supervisor | Educational Leader

This position is ideal for an experienced and passionate Centre Director or Nominated Supervisor seeking a meaningful leadership role within a not‑for‑profit environment. You will oversee a medium‑sized, well‑resourced centre known for its strong relationships, low staff turnover and long‑standing community trust.

anzuk are working with an established, committee managed, sessional kindergarten who are well regarded in the local community and provide exceeding, high quality education. Key Responsibilities

  • Lead all aspects of centre operations including compliance, staffing, rostering and quality assurance
  • Provide strong day‑to‑day leadership to a team of experienced, passionate educators
  • Foster a collaborative, inclusive and high‑performing team culture
  • Work closely with the parent Committee of Management and Centre Administration
  • Maintain the centre’s high standards and drive continuous improvement
  • Lead recruitment, onboarding and retention initiatives
  • Strengthen partnerships with families, local schools and the wider community
  • Part time teaching responsibility

What We’re Looking For

  • ACECQA approved Early Childhood Teaching Qualification
  • Full registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a Centre Director, Educational Leader, or similar leadership role
  • A confident and inspiring leader with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Strong knowledge of NQS, EYLF and regulatory requirements
  • Demonstrated experience supporting, mentoring and leading teams
  • Experience in a not‑for‑profit or committee‑managed kindergarten is valuable (but not essential)
  • A collaborative, community‑minded leadership style
  • Passion for high‑quality early childhood education and strong alignment with child‑safe practices
