Queensland Rail has an exciting opportunity for a solution orientated individual with high attention to detail and can work autonomously to join our team as a Supply Chain Operational Planner in a Fixed Term full-time basis until 30 June 2029.
As a Supply Chain Operational Planner, you will play an integral role in planning and coordinating train and possession requests for track and station maintenance, repairs and upgrades. You will work closely with a variety of internal and external stakeholders to ensure there is capacity for any planned, unplanned or emergency works.
Purpose that Counts
- Coordinating, developing and planning all possessions and train alterations
- Developing Daily Train Plan Diagrams and associated train notices and assist in rescheduling services due to operational variations
- Consulting, negotiating and responding to internal and external stakeholders to resolve any issues and to ensure the allocation of maintenance windows and track possessions minimise the disruption to contracted rail services
We are seeking a solutions orientated individual who has a high attention to detail and can work autonomously within a supportive team environment. In addition to this the ideal you will have:
- Previous experience in rail or operational planning
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks with competing deadlines within an agile and fast-paced environment
- Experience in Vizi-Rail or similar planning systems would also be advantageous
- A customer focused attitude to ensure a positive and solutions-based experience for our stakeholders
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
