OSHC Service Coorindator | Maternity Cover | Coomera
Lead an established OSHC service as a Service Leader – Maternity Leave Cover, where you’ll have the support, development and resources to grow your leadership career while making a meaningful difference in the lives of children and families.
As a Service Leader, you’ll oversee Before School Care, After School Care and Vacation Care, supported by an experienced Hub Manager and Regional Manager.
You’ll also benefit from approximately 13 hours of dedicated administration time each week, giving you dedicated time for planning, compliance, family engagement, programming and team leadership.
About the Role
- Oversee the daily operation of Before School Care, After School Care and Vacation Care programs.
- Lead, mentor and support a dedicated team of educators.
- Develop and implement engaging, play-based programs based on children's interests, needs and development.
- Build positive relationships with children, families, educators and the school community.
- Create a safe, inclusive and welcoming environment where every child can learn, grow and thrive.
- Maintain compliance with relevant legislation, regulations, policies and quality standards.
- Support the ongoing development and performance of your team.
- Manage service administration, programming, compliance and family engagement.
What You'll Bring
- Diploma in Children's Services or equivalent qualification recognised by ACECQA.
- Current Blue Card.
- Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certification.
- Consent to act as the Nominated Supervisor.
- Strong knowledge of the National Quality Framework, National Quality Standards and My Time, Our Place.
- Previous experience managing or leading an OSHC or early childhood service.
- Strong understanding of childcare legislation and compliance requirements.
- Experience using childcare management software.
- Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to develop and motivate a team.
- Mandatory Child Safety Training (Geccko) Courses 1 & 2; Courses 3 & 4 highly regarded.
