Senior Travel Consultant - VIP & Luxury Travel

You will become the trusted point of contact for your clients, taking ownership of their travel from the first enquiry through to their return home. This role suits an experienced consultant looking for something new, who enjoys building relationships, managing complex arrangements and delivering a highly personal level of service. You will also have the opportunity to help shape and grow the AVMIN Private Collection brand.

Key responsibilities

• Arrange domestic and international flights, with a strong focus on first and business class travel.
• Book luxury hotels, resorts, private accommodation and tailored travel experiences.
• Organise airport transfers, chauffeurs, meet-and-assist services and ground transport.
• Build and manage complete itineraries, including complex multi-destination journeys.
• Coordinate with AVMIN's charter team when clients require private aviation.
• Manage GDS reservations, fares, ticketing, reissues, refunds and booking changes.
• Provide clear recommendations based on each client's preferences, priorities and budget.
• Remain accessible to clients and respond promptly to calls, messages and urgent requests.
• Assist after hours with disruptions, last-minute changes and travel requirements across international time zones.
• Anticipate potential issues and find practical solutions before they affect the client.

About you

• Proven experience as a travel agent or travel consultant managing domestic and international travel.
• Strong working knowledge of a major GDS, such as Amadeus, Sabre or Travelport/Galileo.
• Sound experience with international fares, ticketing, reissues, refunds and airline rules.
• Experience booking premium cabins, luxury accommodation and complete travel itineraries.
• Excellent communication, organisation and attention to detail.
• Absolute discretion and the ability to handle sensitive information.
• A strong work ethic and the ability to work independently.
• A calm, resourceful approach to urgent requests and changing plans.
• Genuine flexibility to support clients outside standard business hours.
• A willingness to answer the phone, take responsibility and see an issue through to resolution.
