Hotel Manager
Moore Park View Hotel is seeking an experienced and dynamic Hotel Manager to lead our establishment in Moore Park, NSW. In this full-time position, you will be responsible for the overall management and operation of the hotel, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and maintaining the highest standards of service. This role is pivotal to our business, requiring strategic leadership and operational excellence to drive profitability, guest satisfaction, and team performance. You will work on-site to oversee all aspects of hotel operations and create an environment where both guests and staff thrive.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee all daily hotel operations, and food and beverage services
- Develop and implement strategies to maximise food and beverage rates, revenue and profitability
- Manage budgets, control costs and ensure efficient use of resources across all departments
- Recruit, train, motivate and supervise hotel staff, fostering a positive workplace culture
- Ensure compliance with health, safety and food hygiene regulations and industry standards
- Deliver exceptional customer service and address guest complaints promptly and professionally
- Liaise with marketing and sales teams to promote the hotel and attract new business
- Maintain property standards and coordinate maintenance and renovation projects
- Analyse performance metrics and prepare financial reports for senior management
- Manage relationships with vendors, suppliers and partner organisations
What we're looking for
- 5+ years' experience in hotel management or senior supervisory roles within the hospitality industry
- Proven track record of managing full-service hotels or similar accommodation establishments
- Strong financial acumen, including budget management, revenue forecasting and profit optimisation
- Excellent leadership and people management skills with the ability to motivate diverse teams
- Outstanding customer service orientation with a focus on guest satisfaction and loyalty
- In-depth knowledge of hospitality management systems, booking platforms and operational software
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills at all levels
- Problem-solving abilities and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
- Current RSA , RSG and TAB certification is essential
