Location: Melbourne Work Type: Full Time Salary: Salary range from $90 - $100K + super

Head Chef – located within a beach side suburb in Melbourne at this upmarket eatery. Salary Range $90K – $100K + super.
\n
The successful candidate will have a strong work ethic and the ability to perform in a fast paced kitchen and be able to deliver a range of food from fine dining to bar meals and the ability to manage events. In return you will be provided with a work place where you will continue to learn and develop your skills under the guidance of a supportive management team.

- Menu planning \n
- Estimating food and labour costs \n
- Liaising with suppliers and use of seasonal and local produce \n
- Monitoring quality of dishes at all stages of preparation and presentation \n
- Ensuring hygiene regulations are met \n
- The ability to train and nurture staff with leadership skills \n
Experience Required \n
- \n
- Show creativity in cookery techniques and ability to train others and experience in similar cuisine \n
- Work well under pressure \n
- Team oriented \n
- Positive, punctual and professional approach \n
- Familiar with food safety and OHS guidelines \n
- Attention to detail \n
- Competency with ordering and managing stock \n
