Yard Assistant / Driver
Lynn's Building Materials – Taren Point NSW
We are seeking a part-time Yard Assistant / Driver to join our team at Lynn's Building Materials P/L in Taren Point, NSW. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with the efficient operation of our building materials yard, ensuring our products are well-stocked, organised and readily available for our customers.
What you'll be doing
- Maintaining the organisation and cleanliness of the yard and storage areas
- Assisting customers in locating and accessing the products they need
- Operating forklifts and other machinery to move and stack materials
- Performing general yard maintenance tasks, such as sweeping and tidying
- Providing excellent customer service and contributing to a positive work environment
What we're looking for
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently and accurately
- Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work well in a team
- Excellent customer service skills and a friendly, helpful attitude
- Physical fitness and the ability to lift and manoeuvre heavy materials
