Description
The Finance Business Partner will be responsible for:
- Partner with Operations and Engineering leaders to provide financial insights that support strategic decision-making and business performance.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes across designated business units.
- Deliver meaningful financial analysis and reporting, identifying key trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Provide commercial support on projects, ensuring financial performance aligns with operational objectives.
- Develop and monitor KPIs to drive accountability and improve business outcomes.
- Influence stakeholder decision-making through robust financial modelling, business cases, and scenario analysis.
- Support month-end and quarterly performance reviews, providing commentary and actionable recommendations.
- Ensure compliance with internal financial controls, governance frameworks, and reporting requirements.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to optimise processes and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Act as a trusted finance business partner, bridging the gap between finance, operations, and engineering teams to support growth and profitability.
Profile
- Worked with a services or consultancy firm (engineering, tech consultancy, IT services etc.)
- A degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- Professional qualifications (e.g., CPA, CA) are highly regarded.
- Experience working as a true business partner
- Experience in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in financial systems and tools.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
