Customer Service Officer

  • $38.99 casual rate
  • Monday to Friday 9.00am-5.00pm
  • Salesforce experience beneficial
  • Derrimut Location

The overall purpose of the position is to effectively support the Customer base of a large liquor business by meeting the agreed service levels. You will be required to professionally process inbound customer service calls, ensure delivery of a consistent and high-quality customer experience and be proactive in identifying business improvement opportunities.

The ideal candidate will be required to obtain and evaluate all relevant information to handle inquiries and complaints, to act as the communication conduit between our customers and our business partners, suppliers and service providers.

Areas of Accountability:

  • Responding to online and phone enquiries in a timely and professional manner
  • Performing bookings and schedules for customers and delivery drivers
  • Following up on deliveries and ensuring DIFOT is adhered to
  • Assisting Customers with claims relating to damages, breakages and/or incomplete goods
  • Create strong relationships with customers and offering quick and responsive updates
  • Liaise with the warehouse staff in regards to damage claims
  • Document all claims and enquiries into the company database
  • Represent the company in a professional and positive manner at all times
  • General support duties as required with the role

Preferred Experience and Qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge of MS Office Systems
  • Salesforce system knowledge an advantage
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Certificate in Business Administration or similar a benefit but not essential
