Civil Site Supervisor

Lentro Earthworks is seeking an experienced Civil Site Foreman to join our growing civil construction team in Canberra and surrounding regions. The successful applicant will have strong hands-on experience delivering residential subdivisions, roadworks and hydraulic infrastructure, and will be confident managing site crews, subcontractors and day-to-day construction activities.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate civil construction works on site.
• Manage crews, subcontractors, plant and daily site activities.
• Deliver subdivision works including earthworks, roads and associated civil infrastructure.
• Supervise stormwater, sewer and watermain works, including pipework, pits, manholes and service connections.
• Coordinate road construction including subgrade preparation, pavement works, kerbs and associated drainage.
• Read and interpret civil construction drawings, specifications and levels.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, Engineers, surveyors, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Ensure works are completed safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards.
• Monitor daily progress and assist with construction programming and planning.
• Conduct pre-starts, toolbox meetings and ensure site safety requirements are followed.

About you

• Proven experience as a Civil Foreman / Site Supervisor within civil construction.
• Previous subdivision experience is essential.
• Strong experience in road construction and hydraulic works.
• Good knowledge of stormwater, sewer and water infrastructure installation.
• Ability to read civil drawings, plans and specifications.
• Strong understanding of levels, grades and civil construction sequencing.
• Experience supervising operators, labourers and subcontractors.
• Strong communication, organisation and leadership skills.
• Commitment to WHS and quality requirements.
• Current Australian driver's licence and White Card.
