Job description

The Opportunity

Excellent opportunity to join an ambitious founder-led high-growth company. We are seeking a technically strong FC to support the CFO who will focus on capital planning and long-range strategy.

The Challenge

The role involves leading and managing a high performing team, while implementing the processes, controls and systems required to support continued growth.

Some of your key responsibilities will include:

  • Owning month-end and year-end close across multiple entities, including executive reporting, audit and consolidations
  • Leading budgeting, rolling forecasts, scenario modelling and monthly performance analysis
  • Managing cash flow, working capital, debtor collections, banking relationships and covenant reporting
  • Supporting future M&A activity, including due diligence and post-acquisition finance integration
  • Strengthening financial controls, processes and documentation as the business continues to scale
  • Driving automation and evaluating new ERP, BI and consolidation tools to improve the finance function
  • Overseeing tax, statutory and broader compliance requirements across the Group
  • Partnering with operational leaders to improve financial understanding, accountability and commercial decision-making

The Expertise

Please consider expressing interest in this position if you possess the following:

  • CA/CPA qualification with 7+ years’ experience across financial control, management accounting or broader finance roles
  • Previous experience operating at Financial Controller or equivalent level
  • A strong technical foundation and willingness to be hands on and own month-end
  • Experience within a fast-growth, technology, SaaS or similarly entrepreneurial environment will be highly regarded
  • Strong systems capability, with an interest in automation and practical experience using AI to improve finance processes
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with the confidence to partner with operational leaders and present to senior executives
  • Experience building or improving finance processes, controls and systems within an evolving environment
  • Multi-entity, M&A integration or finance systems implementation experience will be advantageous
