Supported by sustained, controlled growth and a strong forward pipeline of work, Advanced Group is seeking an experienced Accounts & Administration Officer to join the team.
About the role
Reporting to the Financial Controller and working closely with our existing accounts team, you will support the day-to-day accounts functions across multiple businesses within the group.
Accounts is the primary focus of this role, with additional responsibilities supporting the day-to-day administration and smooth running of the office. This position would suit an organised, detail-focused accounts professional who enjoys variety and working as part of a supportive team.
Key responsibilities
- Process and maintain accounts payable and accounts receivable records.
- Assist with invoicing, payment processing and following up outstanding accounts.
- Complete bank and account reconciliations.
- Liaise with suppliers, customers and internal teams to resolve accounts queries.
- Maintain accurate financial records across multiple businesses within the group.
- Support the Financial Controller and accounts team with day-to-day tasks.
- Manage incoming calls and general email enquiries, direct enquiries to the appropriate team members and welcome visitors.
- Provide general administration and office support.
About you
You will bring:
- Previous hands-on experience in an accounts role.
- A completed qualification in accounting or bookkeeping, such as a Certificate IV in Accounting and Bookkeeping, diploma or relevant degree.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accurate work.
- Good organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Clear communication skills and a professional, approachable manner.
- A proactive approach and willingness to contribute across accounts and office administration.
- Experience with Jobpac and AroFlo is preferred but not essential.
