Café | FOH Department Manager

Our Café is the heartbeat of our store — fast-paced, vibrant, and built around exceptional coffee, fresh food, and genuine customer experience. We are now seeking a dynamic Café | Front of House (FOH) Department Manager to lead this space with energy and passion.


About The Role |


This is a hands-on leadership position responsible for overseeing all front-of-house operations within our Café. You will lead from the floor — setting the standard in service, pace, and presentation — while driving team performance and commercial outcomes.


You will be accountable for:



  • Leading, mentoring, and developing a high-performing FOH team

  • Creating a positive and customer focused culture

  • Delivering exceptional customer experiences every shift

  • Managing rosters, daily productivity and café operations

  • Maintaining premium visual merchandising and café presentation

  • Ensuring food safety, compliance, and operational standards are upheld

  • Working collaboratively with kitchen and senior leadership teams


This role requires someone who thrives in a high-volume environment and understands how to balance service excellence with commercial performance.


Skills, Experience & Attributes |



  • 3+ years’ experience in café, hospitality, or retail food leadership

  • Proven experience managing teams in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong understanding of coffee operations and FOH workflow

  • Exceptional communication and conflict resolution skills

  • A proactive, solutions-focused leadership style

  • Availability for early mornings, weekends and peak trading periods
