The Opportunity

We are seeking an Intermediate or Senior Accountant to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in their work, values attention to detail, and wants to be part of a firm that is focused on doing things properly — not just quickly.

You will work across a broad client base and play a key role in delivering taxation and business advisory services.

Qualifications & experience

• Degree qualified, IPA/CPA or CA preferred
• Extensive and Hands On experience preferably client facing (3- 5 Year Experience) in Business Services/Taxation Minimum
• Work ranging with a multitude of client structures and industries
• An ability to adapt to change and learning new processes
• Must have excellent English written and oral communication skills
• High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Confident communicator with a professional approach to clients

Tasks & responsibilities

• Preparation of financial statements and tax returns for all entity types
• SMSF experience highly desirable
• Division 7a Application and experience
• Tax planning for all entity types
• Advisory work
• Provision of taxation advice
• Hands on with reconciliations
• Cash Flow Forecasting
• Budget Preparations
• High level bookkeeping work and client assistance
• Training and assisting Junior Staff
• QBCC Reporting
• End of month processes
• End of year processes
