This role would suit a commercially focused procurement professional with experience across sourcing, category management, supplier management and contracts, looking to build on their procurement capability within an established environment.
Working closely with internal stakeholders and suppliers, you will manage and support procurement activities across a range of categories, with a focus on sourcing, commercial outcomes and effective supplier relationships. Exposure to indirect and ICT-related categories will be highly regarded, but strong commercial procurement experience is key.
Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and support sourcing and procurement activities across a range of commercial and indirect categories.
• Undertake category analysis, market research and supplier assessments to identify commercial opportunities.
• Manage tender processes, including evaluations, commercial analysis, negotiations and contract awards.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and suppliers.
• Support contract management, including variations, claims, milestones and supplier performance.
• Provide commercially sound procurement advice and solutions to stakeholders.
• Monitor supplier and category performance and identify opportunities for improved value.
• Maintain procurement and contract records and contribute to process improvements.

Skills, Experience and Qualifications:

• Degree in business, commerce, procurement, or a related discipline.
• Demonstrated experience in procurement, sourcing, category management or contract management.
• Strong commercial awareness and understanding of procurement and contracting processes.
• Experience with tenders, supplier evaluation, negotiations and contract management.
• Strong analytical, stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to build effective, long-term relationships with stakeholders and suppliers.
• Exposure to indirect procurement or corporate services/technology categories will be well regarded but is not essential.
• Experience with ERP, procurement or Procure-to-Pay systems advantageous.
• Current C Class driver's licence and willingness to travel between locations.
